Dr. Minor will lead the team that’s dedicated to your wellness and recovery. He is a fellowship-trained sports medicine physician, completing medical school and residency at Texas A&M. He completed sport medicine and musculoskeletal ultrasound fellowships at Harvard/Boston Children’s Hospital. He has been practicing sports medicine since 2015.
As the son of an orthopedist, growing up as an athlete, and becoming an avid marathoner and endurance triathlete in medical school, he enjoys working with anyone interested in beginning, returning to or continuing to maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle, whether it be a competitive activity or purely for life’s enjoyment. In addition to treating an injury, he takes particular interest in injury prevention, not only as a means of promoting sports performance, but also to prevent an injury from returning, which includes evaluating and managing nutrition, sleep, recovery and body mechanics and movement.
He obtained USA Triathlon Level I coaching certification during his residency and has treated athletes at all levels. You can find him hiking or running on various trails or on the wash, riding bikes with his son, or covering various local sporting events or dance performances.
